Hello. My name is Wayne Harmon. After many years of encouraging, nudging, and dare I say, “nagging” by family and friends, I have finally begun a blog.

Who is Wayne Harmon? This is a legitimate question for anyone asking that others take the time to read his/her opinions. (For the record, this is the only time I plan to use the politically correct “his/her”, and I steadfastly refuse to use the politically correct yet grammatically incorrect “they/their” with singular antecedents. Just saying.)

Anyway, where was I? Oh, yes, who is Wayne Harmon? Well, I’m just an average man who has lived an average life, yet a life that is unique to me, just as your average life is unique to you. It is that uniqueness that each of us lives that makes us valuable to each other.

(I still haven’t answered that “who” question, have I?)

Well, for now I’ll just tell you that I have one wife, four sons, one daughter, one daughter-in-law, one grandchild and three cats. You’ll learn more about me as we meet together on this blog.
