I haven’t posted anything in a long time. Life has completely changed for me.

I wrote in November of 2016 that my wife was diagnosed with stage IV cancer. She went through chemo and surgery, and she said she was feeling the best she had felt in years.

Yay!

Then in February of 2017 she began to feel bad again.

“The cancer has returned,” the doctor said, “and there is nothing more we can do about it. It is chemo-resistant, and it is spreading.”

She died April 17, 2017.

In future posts I’ll share some of the details of this life-changing path I’m still walking.

I am not the same person.

The half of the whole that now remains is learning to become a whole on its own.

Not easy.
